EN 10132 Cold Rolled Narrow Steel Strip for Heat Treatment

These standard relate to the delivery conditions for alloy and non-alloy steel suppliedd in cold rolled strips of up to 600mm width for heat treatment  The steel names in these standards are allocated according to EN 10027-1 and CR 10260 and the steel numbers are allocated in accordance with EN 10027-2.

The ordering information require by the purchaser for steel to these standards include.

• Quantity
• Designation of the product ( cold rolled strip)
• The identification of the dimensional standard eg. EN 10140)
• The dimensions and tolerances on dimensions and shape. (Letters denoting special tolerances
• The number of the applicable standard e.g.BS EN 10132-2
• The steel name or number
• The delivery condition
• The type of inspection documentation -if required (In accordance with EN 10204)
