420 Stainless Steel 420 Stainless Steel Tubing
ASTM A276 420 1.4021 Stainless Steel Type 420 Stainless Steel provides both outstanding corrosion resistance and exceptional wear resistance. To obtain the best possible strength and wear resistance, oil quenching alloy 420 at a temperature between 1800° F and 1950° F. Alloy 420 Stainless Steel is commonly used in dental and surgical instruments, cutlery, plastics molds, pump shafts, steel balls, and numerous hand tool. Because of its air hardening properties, type 420 Stainless Steel is not often welded, although, it is possible. When welded with stainless steel type 420, preheat the steel to a temperature between 300° F and 400° F. After welding, temper the work piece at temperature for two hours. When hot working, it is recommended to gradually raise the temperature to 1400° F and then gradually raise the temperature to anywhere from 2000° F to 2200° F. While working, avoid letting the work temperature drop below 1600° F by frequently reheating the steel. To prevent cracking, furnace cool the work piece slowly after working. Any extreme cold…

416 Stainless Steel 416 Stainless Steel Tubing
Type 416 Stainless Steel is a stainless steel which is martensitic and can be hardened by heat treatment to higher strength and hardness levels. It has much better machining properties than the austenitic grades, but lower corrosion resistance. In dry conditions and in environments that are mildly corrosive, 416 machining grade is practically comparable with unmodified types. Type 416 is somewhat inferior in corrosion resistance to other 12% chromium stainless steels, such as type 410. Type 416 Stainless Steel may also be heat treated to varying degrees of strength and hardness by appropriate treatment. It may be used in welding, with some difficulty, and it must be annealed after welding at about 1450° F to improve its ductility and corrosion resistance. 416 Stainless Steel is a martensitic free machining grade of stainless steel that can be hardened by heat treatment to achieve elevated strength and hardness. Due to its low cost and ready machinability, 416 stainless steel is readily used in its highly tempered state. It exhibits better machining…

ASTM A268 TP410S ASME SA268 TP410S Stainless Steel Tubing
ASTM A268 TP410S Stainless Steel Tubing and S41008 1.4000 Pipes Guanyu Tube Can Manufacturing both Seamless and Welded ASTM A268 TP410S, OD Range 6 – 530mm Thickness range 0.5 – 30mm, Maximum Length in 25000mm. Please send your inquiry to us for more details. We have a large quanity of 410 410S Stainless Steel Tubes and Pipes Stock in China to support urgent projects. ASTM A268 TP 410S ASME SA268 TP410S stainless steel is Contains lower carbon than Type 410, offers improved weldability but lower hardenability. Type 410S Stainless Steel is a general purpose corrosion and heat resisting chromium steel recommended for corrosion resisting applications. The low carbon and a small alloy addition minimize austenite formation at high temperature which restricts the ability of 410S to harden. 410S remains soft and ductile even when rapidly cooled from elevated temperature. This helps prevent cracking when the alloy is exposed to high temperature or during welded. 410S…

ASTM A268 TP410 / ASME SA268 TP410 Stainless Steel Tube
ASTM A268 TP 410 ASME SA268 TP 410 Stainless Steel Seamless Tubing and Welded Pipes ASTM A268 ASME SA 268 TP410 S41000 is a martensitic stainless steel with high mechanical properties and is ferromagnetic in the annealed or hardened condition. 410 contains the minimum amount of chromium to impart stainless steel properties. 410 resists oxidation and scaling up to 1200 degF. Hardness is one of 410’s best features; It resists abrasion and wear better than most 300 series stainless steel. Grade 410 is often supplied in the hardened, but still machinable condition, for applications where high strength and moderate heat and corrosion resistance are required 410 Stainless Steel is the basic, general purpose, hardenable martensitic stainless steel. It is used for highly stressed parts with good corrosion resistance and strength. Alloy 410 resists corrosion in mild atmospheres, steam, and many mild chemical environments. The alloy can be heat treated to obtain high strength with good ductility. This alloy is used…

Martensitic Stainless Steel
Austenitic | Martensitic | Ferritic | Duplex | Super Duplex | Superaustenitic | Superferritic | Precipitation Hardening Martensitic stainless steel have the highest strength but also the lowest corrosion resistance of the stainless steel. Martensitic steels with high carbon contents are used for tool steel. Due to their high strength in combination with some corrosion resistance, martensitic steel are suitable for applications where the material is subjected to both corrosion and wear. An example is in hydroelectric turbines. Martensitic grades of stainless steel were developed in order to provide a group of stainless alloys that would be corrosion resistant and hardenable by heat treating. The martensitic grades are straight chromium steels containing no nickel. They are magnetic and can be hardened by heat treating. The martensitic grades are mainly used where hardness, strength, and wear resistance are required. Martensitic stainless steel has a relatively high carbon content (0.1% – 1.2%) compared to other stainless steel. The martensitic steel are plain chromium steel containing between 12% and 18% chromium, can be heat…
