Why does the condenser need to use stainless steel tubes?
The stainless steel condenser has strong corrosion resistance, resistance to pitting corrosion, ammonia corrosion and general corrosion, and its service life can reach more than 20 years. Since the stainless steel material is high-performance alloy steel such as TP304 and TP316L, the surface has high strength, and the inside surface of the stainless steel tube is smooth, which makes the thickness of the bottom layer of the boundary laminar flow thinner, so it has strong erosion resistance of high-temperature steam. The rigidity of the pipe is obviously improved, and the anti-vibration performance is good.
The outside surface of the heat exchange stainless steel tube of the condenser is smoother than that of the copper tube, and the condensation heat release coefficient is higher than that of the copper tube. According to the test and calculation of multiple units, the overall heat transfer rate of the stainless steel tube with a wall thickness of 0.7mm is higher than that of the copper tube with a wall thickness of 1mm. The heat coefficient is about 2.124% higher. With the increase of operating time, the overall heat transfer coefficient of stainless steel tubes decreases slowly, while the overall heat transfer coefficient of copper tubes decreases much faster than that of stainless steel tubes. In the long run, it is obvious that the use of stainless steel pipes improves the overall economy of the unit, and at the same time improves the safety of the unit.
