Incoloy 825 Pipe, Alloy 825 Tubing ASTM B163 N08825
Incoloy 825 Pipe, Alloy 825 Tubing ASTM B163 B423 ASME SB163 SB423 N08825 Tubes Tubing Pipes is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. Alloy 825 is similar to alloy 800 but has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion. It has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Alloy 825 is especially resistant to sulfuric acids and phosphoric acids. Alloy 825 is used for chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, and pickling equipment.

Incoloy 825 Pipe, Alloy 825 Tubing Corrosion resistance
Alloy 825 is an all-purpose project alloy, have good corrosion resistance of the acid and alkali metal property in both oxidation and reduction environments. High nickel content made it with effective stress corrosion cracking resistance performance. 825 have excellent corrosion resistance in different kinds of media, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and organic acid, alkali metal such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, and hydrochloric acid. A variety of media corrosion of nuclear-burning dissolver show 825 high integrated prpperty, like sulfuric acid, nitric acid and potassium hydroxide are all dealing in a same device.
Alloy 825 General Corrosion
N08825 Nickel Alloy possesses excellent resistance to corrosion. N08825 is far superior to molybdenum alloyed steels such as 316L Stainless Steel, particularly when exposed to non-oxidizing media such as sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid. It also has satisfactory resistance to highly oxidizing agents such as nitric acid. N08825 nickel alloy has significantly better corrosion resistance in formic acid than standard austenitic stainless steel.
