A. Uniform Corrosion
304NG stainless steel has the same corrosion resistance properties with 304L in Acid, Alkali, Salt medium. The corrosion condition in pressurized-water medium provide in image 1 to image 4. For compare, we list the data of
321 also.
In water medium, the Uniform Corrosion test according to GB10124-88. Medium condition PH=6-8, C1<0.1mg/L, dissolved oxygen <0.1mg/L, specific resistivity > >5×105Ω.cm high purity water, test temperature is 00℃±1℃.

Inter-granular Corrosion Resistant Properties
304NG stainless steel has good inter-granular corrosion resistant properties in the sensitization condition of standard stipulate. In 650°C×2h and 700°C×30’ with the velocity of 1°C/min cooling to 500°C, the Ra value of two sensitization condition are 250% and 969%, repectively. For 18-8 Austenitic stainless steel, the reactivation rate <15% can be treated as no inclination of inter-granular corrosion.

Stress corrosion fracture resistant properties
Water condition is contain 20ppmc1 deionized water(PH=7,specific resistivity ρ=5×105Ω.cm) and 300°C, saturated steam pressure is 88Mpa, dissolved oxygen 8ppm(Saturation oxygen) high purity water, tensile velocity is 0.005mm/min (strain velocity ε=4.2×10-6 S), 304NG stress corrosion index show table 1
