EN 10296-2 Stainless Steel Chemical Composition
EN 10296-2 stainless steel and heat-resisting steel for circular welded tubes for mechanical and general engineering purposes. Included in the standard are chemical composition, delivery conditions and process route symbols, ambient temperature mechanical properties, some additional optional tests (leak testing, flattening, drift expansion, bend and non-destructive testing) and some dimensional and tolerance requirements.
Ferritic (7), austenitic (17), and duplex (2) stainless steel grades and austenitic heat resisting grades (6) are included in the range of grades specified in this standard. Only the chemical composition of the stainless steels in the standard are listed in this article.
