EN 10088-3 Mechanical Martensitic and Precipitation Hardening
EN 10088-3 gives the mechanical properties for stainless steel semi-finished products, bars, rods and sections for general purposes. The properties given in this article are proof strength, tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and hardness of martensitic and precipitation hardening stainless steel.
EN 10088-3 was originally published in 1995. The second, current version, EN 10088-3:2005, has superseded EN 10088-3:1995, which was withdrawn by BSi on 20th June 2005.
The tables shown here only have the 2005 tensile strength property ranges of the martensitic and precipitation hardening steels. Of the new grades added in the 2005 edition the following appear as bright bar
Special martensitic grade 1.4035
Special precipitation grade 1.4606
This article is specfically for bright products which were introduced in the 2005 edition.
